iPad not ready for the classroom

The iPad is achieving great successes in the classroom, but adaptation will still take time, as we move beyond the early adaptors interest in novelty, and start into the "instrument for innovation" phase to assist students in their learning process. Just like anything else - it is a means, not an ends. The teacher is the driving force, and the tech is available to make the driving a little easier, and maybe a little more fun.
